NYX // CoverGirl

Recently, I bought some stuff off drugstore.com and I’m really stoked about the items I got. I waited for ages and literally screamed and danced with my dog when I saw the package at home. Joy.

In there included 2 CoverGirl products and a NYX one.

{I} NYX blush in the shade, Peach.

Oh my momma, this blush is super pigmented. One tap on it with a finger, you can see a distinct pink and the pink is really pretty too! It’s somewhere between girly and coral-ly, super pleased with this! Pretty sure it’ll be able to last me a long time since I don’t need much of the product each time I use it. Overall rating, 7.5/10!

{II} CoverGirl BB cream in Light-Medium.

I haven’t tried many BB creams my whole life, but the few that I’ve tried gave me too much coverage, and I personally don’t like that because I don’t want to cover up too much.
This was close to perfect! Covered up some mild ugly places and was super natural. It gives a dewy finish at first, but it’ll be matte once your skin absorbs it. This color suits me perfectly and I would definitely buy it again! However I just wished it smelled nicer. Rating 8/10.

{III} CoverGirl professional loose powder in translucent medium.

I have not tried this yet, but it sure does look promising. The shade again, suits me well and there’s quite a lot of product for the price I paid! I’m currently waiting for my e.l.f brushes to arrive and then I’ll be able to try this baby out. There’s a puff provided inside, but it doesn’t smell too good so I’m not keen on using it. Will do an update once I’ve tried the powder!

High-waisted shorts.

Before I begin my first legit post, I would like to say a big thank you to those who have liked my post and followed me. I AM SO HAPPY. So yeah, thanks!

As the title states, high-waisted shorts, and this is my take on them.
I think it can look really good if you wear them tastefully, but there is a huge difference with it being “high-waisted” and what I call it, “underwear style”.
Underwear style? It’s the way some girls wear it and it reveals the curve along the butt and thigh (get what I mean?) shorts like these really makes me wonder what’s the point of wearing them when you can just wear a pair of shorts-like underwear out.
It’s really awful when I see a girl wear something like that, yeah, maybe it boosts your self-esteem, but perhaps you forgot your self-respect as well.
This isn’t discriminating the bigger population, but it’s a little “weird” (the nicer way to put it) when your shorts wrap around your thighs so tightly and they reveal those hated inner thigh fats. Perhaps you could choose a looser pair, or paper-bag shorts! They’re high-waisted as well, with an intentionally widened area for the thighs (I have no idea what that is called) and they can look good too!
I personally think high-waisted shorts looks good when paired with a muscle tank or a t-shirt that is tucked in. Of course, when worn in the right place at the right time. It’s annoying to see how some girls make their high-waisted shorts as a “staple” in their closet.
Don’t wear it because it’s trendy, wear it because it makes you look good.

WHO AM I?!

Hello.
Well, looking at the number of posts, it’s pretty simple to say that I’m new here.
I created this little blog because I want the world to know how I feel. And it’s about my take on almost everything. Fashion, makeup, people.
Before I get down to business (HA), I think I should introduce myself.
I’m a girl (no shit) and I’m currently in a long-distance relationship (yeah there’ll be updates on us) I have my girly days and I have my “tomboy” ones too. I recently got started getting into makeup so there will only be neutral products featured. Nothing fancy or expensive, just some items that caught my eye. I’m no fashionista but at least (I think) I can dress well, unlike some girls…
I plan to update the blog every now and thenv and I really hope to get more readers. All the burning feelings about the current generation’s clothes has inspired me to create this page.
