My day today was just horrible.

I had training today (I play netball in school) and I was late for it! I had to wait for the bus for 20 minutes and when I reached school, I had to run 2km immediately. It’s pretty tiring since I haven’t ran (due to ankle issues) for about 2 months.

Then there were matches within the team and stuff, but guess what? The coach didn’t pick me for a single game. That made me mad. I was so pissed off. I felt as though I wasted 3 hours of my life in school.

He’d just stare at me, then pick someone else. I felt so worthless and useless, that I was insignificant. Maybe I’m a pretty bad player, but he could at least give me one chance?
During practice, he gave me a useless role. Literally, useless, not that I wasn’t appreciating the role he gave me, but it was useless. I could have stood at the transverse line, not move and they’d carry on fine without me.

If he was going to waste so much of my time, why am I still going to school? They should just say “oh, you’re bad at netball and you don’t have a chance to be on the competitive team, so stay at home!”
I have been trying hard, mind them. The match I played on Monday (when coincidentally, none of them were there) was fantastic. I intercepted a couple of balls and managed to keep my opponent behind me, unable to get the ball.

I also practice my passes with the team captain, and they’re improving. Just one chance for me to prove to them what I got seems a little too tough, huh?
I felt so useless.

Horrible, horrible day indeed! Now I’m in a horrible mood.
I shall bake tomorrow, to relieve me of my stress. Christmas goodies of course, they make me so happy. And can I say, I am a (amateur) master at making biscotti. They taste so amazing!
Here are a few recipes of what I’ll most probably be baking tomorrow.

I have an absolute weakness for peppermint.

I gotta go get the peppermint extract for the recipes.
I honestly can’t wait for Christmas! With all the cooking and baking – I can’t wait to make potato gratin. Managed to find a recipe by Jamie Oliver!
Geez I’m so hungry now.
OH! And seriously, Nigella Lawson is frickin amazing.
