(Dream) Shopping!

Ever had one of those afternoons where you’re just sitting in front of the computer and just scrolling through Sephora, Forever 21, Cherry Culture or Pacsun?

Yeah, I’m in one of those afternoons. Then I wondered, What’s the bill that I’ll rack up if I shopped at “high end” places like how I would if I were at a dollar store.

Wow. 

I went pretty crazy here.

Sometimes I wish I was a teenage girl in a rich family living in L.A.

But oh well, I’m happy with the family I have!

YSL Cream Blush? Hell yeah. The packaging and color, l-o-v-e.

YSL Touche Eclat, W-A-N-T.

Stila, Benefit, YSL and Nars are my current favorite brands.

Those items in the pictures above are the things that I would pick (and really want) if I were to shop at Sephora like how I do at drugstores.

Total bill?

I could actually go on a holiday with that amount of money!

These are the moments in which I wished I never knew about high-end products.

First world problems? Definitely.

Now at drugstore.com :

I love Not Your Mother’s! Just ordered a sea salt spray, can’t wait for it to arrive.

I feel as though the Physicians Formula baked eyeshadows are a knockoff of Chanel’s eyeshadow quads.

Love the maybelline color tattoos.

I never knew about the CoverGirl clump crusher extensions! Sounds so cool, does it mean the mascara’s clump free and would lengthen my lashes?

L’Oreal Visible Lift Blush, never came across that, but it seems pretty promising.

It’s a light rose gold shade and rose gold is always amazing in makeup.

I’m not sure if it’s me, but I feel like I need many shades of the same lipstick.

And peppermint lipgloss? I need it.

I adore everything peppermint and I’m always on the verge of overdosing on candy canes.

I love that berry shade. I don’t know why I have not got my hands on the stain yet though.

Pacsun. 

Cute shorts, but I don’t have the legs to wear them, oh well!

Love the middle skirt, it can totally funk up an outfit.

The jacket can give a totally different vibe to an outfit.

It should be a staple in every girl’s closet.

Moto jackets? Yes please.

Yay to midi rings! I remember seeing some from H&M, a pity I didn’t have cash with me at the point in time.

The fox ring is just so adorable.

Total bill?

Which is approximately USD 1079.39

More expensive than my Sephora makeup!

Shocking.

I have now found an excuse to why my wardrobe is still so boring.

But honestly, I really need a revamp. My closest’s boring me out.

Nasty Gal. 

 

The second dress is perfect for a night out with the girls. Not exactly practical for everyday use though, unless you throw on a jacket. 

 

The green bling shoes is perfect for spunking up a plain outfit. 

 

I really need a bag, I only have 2 bags that I use a lot at the moment. 

Both of which are from Crumpler. 

I want something that slings and is big as well. 

 

Total bill? 

 

I find it pretty expensive, since there’s only 14 items. 

But they’re of the higher end brand, so I shouldn’t quite complain. 

This totally inspired me to go on a mad shopping spree to change my closet because I really need new clothes. 

Alright! That’s all I have for today, my eyes are so tired from looking at all the clothes and makeup, shocking.

Current trends : Yay or Nay?

There are some current trends that I love and some that I could live without. Here are some!

Circle Sunglasses. 

Yeah, those are circle sunglasses and I cannot express how much I hate them. I have written a post about them and I really feel that they make you look like a blind person. Remember the three blind mice?

Yeah, that’s how you look.

Now unless you’re like this guy, or John Lennon, stay away from those odd spectacles.

Verdict : NAY! 

Knuckle Rings. 

They may seem  a little odd to those who are new to this because as we all know, rings sit at the bottom of our fingers.

(Typical tumblr picture) The painting of nails could’ve been better, just saying.

Different designs can bring a different dimension to the outfit you’re wearing. It can “edgify” or “classify” an outfit and I love it because it’s a simple transformation from day to night or girly to punk.

There’s the classic, gold / silver band like this :

Or an “evolved” version with a pointed tip, or ribbons and stuff like that.

I think they’re so pretty!

I first saw them when essiebutton was talking about hers. Beautiful.

Here’s an interesting ring name / placement that I found while searching pictures of knuckle rings.

Verdict : YAY! 

Miley Cyrus. 

There’s quite a lot of hate on her new look right now.

(I think it’s mainly because of her twerking and grinding against a married man)

Space buns. They look a lot like mini dumplings.

I’m quite digging her current look though, because after The Last Song, Hannah Montana is o-v-e-rrrrrrr.

It’s time to change a new look! Impact the world again, to show that she’s grown up.

We all have that transformation, and I don’t quite mind hers!

She looks a little like Hannah Hart who decided to be a sexy businesswoman (hooker)

Her fashion sense is still great, just that it went from girly to a punky edge.

That’s her in 2010, love love love that dress.

I really like how she isn’t lashing at everyone for giving her hate (and if she is, I’m outdated)

Verdict : YAY! 

Snapbacks. 

I think snapbacks (which are really, just caps) with logos of sports teams are acceptable.

But with “Dope”, “Swag”, “Weed” – really?

Do you think you’re badass?

no.

I hate it more when guys / girls use it in reverse.

What’s the point of the “front” (flap) of the cap then? Might as well use a Chinese hat.

Verdict : NAY! 

Yeah I apologise, I can’t exactly think of any more “current trends”
