Monthly Favorites : April 2014.

Alright, another series that I’m attempting to complete! So let’s just jump right in and see what has been working for me this month.

{ BASE }

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum

I did a review on it which you can read here, and I feel that this just gives an amazing base which evens out your skin tone really well.

Smells amazing, looks amazing, feels amazing. What’s there not to love?

Bobbi Brown BB Cream

I’m aware that Bobbi Brown has came out with a CC cream which I’m very keen on getting because I’ve seen someone use it and I love the coverage it gives and the finish it has.

This evens out my skin tone and leaves a slight dewy finish. I like using this for a natural look and just for an everyday wear.

Trying not to finish this too fast because it isn’t cheap!

{ FACE }

Topshop Cream Blush in Neon Rose.

I can’t find it on the web, but I’m pretty sure it’s sold in stores!

This is my definitely go to blush for a “glowing” look as it makes me seem alive, healthy and fresh.

It gives you a little of the flush you get after a long run, and I like to put this on my cheekbones.

{ LIPS }

Stila Lip Glaze in Melon.
(I can’t find the link, but I got this in the Christmas set)

This is an amazing lip gloss as it doesn’t feel as though you have something on your lips. It smells nice too!

The color “Melon” is really natural and perfect for an everyday look.

My pet peeves about lip glosses are their stick factor and this is not as sticky as the other lip glosses out there which is a plus point because now it won’t seem as you have glue on your lips!

{ EYES }

Maybelline Rocket Volum’ Express.

This mascara lengthens my lashes like no other, and I had a guy who asked me if I fake lashes on.

Not sure if it’s because guys can’t really tell, or maybe it made my lashes really long. I really like the staying power, it’s pretty hard to remove and it isn’t even the waterproof formula!

It’s the perfect “in a rush” product to use because you can definitely see a difference when you have this on.

But lately I’ve seen some smudging, which isn’t much of a problem because I have my new Bioderma micellar water.

{ MISC }

Bioderma Sensibio H2O.

This is perfect for removing those mascara smudges or eyeliner problems. The best part is that you don’t have to rinse it off, how much more convenient can it get?

I will definitely be repurchasing it when there’s a discount.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.

This brush is firm and does an amazing job at blending out the foundation. It feels amazing on the skin and the shorter bristles and how dense it is makes it a holy grail brush for me.

Though my E.L.F brushes are really soft, this brush has won my heart over them. Looking forward to get more in the future!

Window Shopping Wants.

One of those days, where I have nothing much to do on the computer and I find myself on Sephora’s website.

Here are some of the stuff that I’m eyeing on and that might perhaps be an option for you when you do some Sephora shopping!

snickeriggles

Look at the gorgeous items.

urban decay naked 3

Urban Decay Naked 3.

I have never lusted for Naked 1 & 2, but the thought of this palette being rose-hued just blew my mind. I need it!

ysl touche éclat

YSL Touche Eclat.

Highly raved and luxurious packaging. I’ve always wanted to try one of these but the price tag has deterred me. Absolutely in love with the packaging and I’m aware that some drugstore brands have tried making a “dupe” or “knockoff” of this. But of course, nothing can beat the feeling of using the real deal.

narsissist cheek kit

NARSissist Cheek Kit.

I’m a fan of NARS, (though I only own the Orgasm blush. meh.) so the thought of having a cheek kit with the amazing quality is quite exciting. Perfect for traveling.

eve lom mask

Eve Lom Rescue Mask.

I managed to get a sample of this mask and I must say that it works wonders. Perfect for those days before a big event (or even on the day itself) and you want to look your best. I need to get my hands on this soon, there’s so many bumps on my face and it’s frustrating.

urban decay eyeliner

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil.

I have one in the shade Rockstar and I think that it’s a great alternative to the usual black or blue. It’s so creamy and smooth, has to be my favorite eyeliner at the moment. Definitely want to own more!

nars creamy concealer

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.

Another highly raved product, I’m amazed by the coverage it gives. Also, it’s suitable to be applied all over the face, for all kinds of imperfections, so I’m eyeing on them.

ysl volupte sheer candy

YSL Volupte Sheer Candy.

Just… The packaging. It’s orgasmic and absolutely luxurious. Not to mention it has been raved by essiebutton and I love her taste. I can’t wait to get my hands (and lips) on this baby.

ysl rouge volupte shine

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine.

I’m not sure if I’m going through a “phase”, but I have been rather interested in dark lips lately. Maybe it’s the grungy mode that I’m starting to get into, but I’m real digging dark lips.

nars sheer glow

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation.

I’ve seen Tanya Burr talk about this and I’m pretty attracted by the coverage and glow that it gives. Very natural and fresh! Sadly, it’s about $82 (including the pump) over here. I might get one at the end of the year when I go to the US.

ysl stain

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain.

By now… You can probably tell my obsession with YSL. From their perfumes to bags, I’ve quite fancied them. And now that I’ve found out about their makeup brand, amazing. The packaging, quality and pigmentation are fantastic and I can’t wait to own more.

dior lip glow

Dior Lip Glow.

Apparently this changes according to your body’s temperature and gives an amazing shade of pink that is “your lips, but better”. Plus it’s a lip balm, so I won’t feel that I’m wearing anything too over the top.

hourglass blush

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush.

The packaging’s so sleek and cool, plus I’ve heard quite a few positive reviews about it. I like the marbleized effect of the blush and I don’t think it’s sold where I am so… Sad face! But it’s a good thing as well, or else it’ll add up to my “makeup bill”

anastasia brow gel

Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel.

I feel that this is a great option when you’re in a rush as all you have to do is run this through your brows. I’m pretty sure you can do a DIY one, but since Anastasia is a professional brand, it should be pretty good.

stila eyeliner

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner.

I’ve seen Ingrid (missglamorazzi) use this and I like how fine the tip is. It’ll give the nicest and most precise wings, in my opinion. The downside is that it’s waterproof. Not a fan of using a makeup remover.

hourglass eyebrow

Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil.

I’ve seen Estee use this and I like how the pencil is in that shape, makes it easier for filling the brows! Plus it seems really quick too.

dior mascara

Diorshow Iconic Mascara

I love how the brush looks and of course, I trust Dior makeup. Not a fan of the packaging though, the little patterns in the background isn’t the most flattering thing ever.

Alright! That’s all I have for today and I hope you’ve enjoyed this post, and perhaps interested in getting a couple of items that I’ve featured.

Stay tuned for my next post, where it’ll be a sequel to the how to be a tumblr girl.

Wishlist (2) {lip products}

Before I begin, follow me on Instagram! Yes I have a newly created account and it’s @snickeriggles. Help me get the word out about my blog out. Thank you lovelies!

20130818-000648.jpg

with all the lip products I am looking for, I can safely say that I am mad.

20130818-001116.jpg
A set of all tints, how adorable! Benefit Cosmetics has to be one of my favorite “high-end” makeup. Their packaging and the name of their products has already won me over by 80%. Then with the stuff they came out? 100% sold.

20130818-001814.jpg
I’ve never actually heard of this product, but heard of “Buxom” from essiebutton. Seems pretty cool for a lip stain. A little like the Revlon kissable balm stain, I must say.

20130818-002001.jpg
THIS. I have heard it from essiebutton (my favorite-est beauty vlogger ever.) and it looked so good! I will get it one day. It’s so sheer and cute and elegant at the same time.

20130818-002827.jpg
I have never heard of this, but it looks so quirky (in a good way of course) the pink is a really nice opague one and looks so smooth. Looks like liquid cotton candy.

20130818-003135.jpg
Soap and Glory! Their packaging is comparable to Benefit’s, just more provocative. It’s so girly and sexy and cheeky! I wish I had their body product set or something, seen it quite a few times but never actually gotten it.

20130818-003453.jpg
I always thought Stila were mainly eyeshadows, but it’s a pleasant surprise to find this. With tint, and balm, I was really interested.

20130818-003806.jpg
Kat Von D lipstick! I never ever knew she had a makeup line, and I’m absolutely interested in it right now. The colors are really dark / neutral / red, perfect for statement lips or to enhance the eye makeup. Plus the packaging is really sleek and classy, while infusing the rock edge.

20130818-004051.jpg
Yves Saint Laurent again! And I heard it from Estée, again. I love how sheer the swatch I saw on her video was, I’m not a fan of “thick” lipsticks. Plus the packaging is really really classy.

20130818-004441.jpg
I know this isn’t a lip product, but I had to add it in since I saw it in Estée’s get ready with me video and wazowska , the coverage was amazing and gave a really natural finish. It was just so awesome, I can’t even describe it.

So hey, if you ever thought about what to get for me, you have a rough idea. Haha!
