Spring, the season everyone has been looking forward to because winter has been way too long.
I wish I had spring around here, with the cool weather & flowers springing up everywhere. It’s warm around here all the time, but I have been seeing a lot of bloomed flowers so it feels good.
Since spring has arrived, I decided to do a makeup look which you can wear to look and feel amazing this season!

COMPLEXION.
A dewy glow would be amazing as it looks fresh and alive, just like the flowers which are blooming after the freezing winter.
You can definitely skip this step if you don’t like primers, but I feel that this gives some glow which makes it seem like it’s coming from within.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation.
From what I know, this doesn’t retail in the US so try to get it on eBay or Amazon!
Also, do not mix this up with the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, the one I’m mentioning today is the serum foundation!
This gives a dewy glow which can make it seem as though you have highlight on your face, when you really don’t.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment.
This has a fairly light coverage (while doing its job of concealing at the same time) which I feel is amazing for Spring as winter is over and light makeup is coming back.
I know this doesn’t come under the whole “base” theme, but since it is a liquid product, putting it over the powder doesn’t seem quite ideal.
This color exudes a youthful glow, in my opinion, and matches the colors of spring quite well. It’s also a lip and cheek product, so you can choose to use for both purposes.
Set your makeup with a powder only at areas where you tend to get oily. Lightly press the powder into the skin to lock the base makeup on! If you powder your whole face, it might reduce the dewiness showing through.
EYES.
Personally, filling in brows can sometimes make them seem more unnatural, so I’m going to skip that step. Of course, you can still do your brow routine. I feel that as long as they’re well groomed & not that sparse, it’s all good!
The colors in this palette somehow scream Spring to me, absolutely gorgeous palette. I can’t wait to get it when I go over to the US in November, it’s way too expensive to buy it here.
Apply Burnout all over your lid and then have Buzz in your crease, making sure you blend them out well. Then apply Strange to the inner corners of your eye and on your brow bone.
L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara.
Long voluminous lashes is suitable for any season of the year, so use whatever you feel works best for you!
This mascara does an amazing job at volumizing, plus the funky wand allow the outer corner of your lashes to be longer and give the effect of butterfly wings.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Vice.
I think that a pop of color on the eyes would be great as it’s all about the colors, the flowers and nature. However if you’re uncomfortable with wearing a bright blue eyeliner, try a dark purple one.
You’re moving away from the traditional black, but at the same time it’s also a different color. Vice is a great option. You can also smudge it out before it sets for a slight smokey effect.
LIPS.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Coral Berry.
This should be a Spring color, it’s a coral that isn’t as bright as Siren, but also has some pink in it, very much like a peach color.
I might just pick this up when I head to the drugstore soon.

Alright, that’s all I have for today and I apologize for the recent lack of posts, school has been making me rather busy and I can’t find the time to type out a blog post.
I promise more posts soon! Especially hauls and reviews.
Thank you for your support and stay tuned!
